I cannot believe it has been over TWO YEARS since I wrote or uploaded or tended to my little blog here! I owe you all a big apology! I have been extremely busy putting everything I have into building a house with my husband, and tending to my little family. I have also been busy growing my business and taking lots of photos. I do have a lot to catch up on here, but lets start with some of my most recent work. This was a spur of the moment photo shoot with my cuties to try out some new gear. As I’m preparing to publish this post, I’m realizing I never figured out how to save my photos for this blog. Until I figure it out, they are saved for Facebook, which does not look good anywhere BUT facebook. They are grainy, but it’s better than publishing a large file and tempting thieves. Did you know there is such a thing as people who want to steal photographers work? Yep. It really happens. Also, about a month ago my computer crashed and my hard drive was toast. While I always back up my client files, I had neglected to back up my business files (like my price lists, business cards, oh yeah and logo). Talk about a dumb move. Since then, I have been slowly rebuilding the files that took me years to accumulate. Dumb. I can say that, since I’m talking about myself here. So for now, none of my photos will have my logo on them, which is even more of a temptation for thieves. Ugh. I need a business manager.
